Chelsea Spitzer Morton
Faculty
Chelsea Spitzer Morton has been joyfully facilitating nature connection experiences for youth and adults for nearly a decade, including at the Village School at Earthaven Ecovillage, where she serves as lead instructor and co-director. She is an educator, an artist, musician, and lifelong student of the interwoven patterns of life.
She has created and led age-specific programming for kids 4-15 years of age in WNC and Maryland, having served as a lead instructor with organizations such as Pearlstone Farm and Forest School, Ancestral Knowledge, Earthskills Rendezvous and Firefly Gathering youth programs, and the Waldorf School of Baltimore’s forest program. Like the protective and nurturing forest canopy above the budding saplings, she strives to provide a supportive space for children to push their edges and grow into flourishing young adults. Wilderness First Aid certified through an accredited school, and having taught in both outdoor and classroom settings, she appreciates the value of having super fun outdoor adventures while staying safe, learning, and growing!
