Permaculture and Ecovillage Immersion

Application and Tuition

The Permaculture and Ecovillage Immersion is no longer accepting applicants for this year's program. Please contact Gabriel at connect@schoolofintegratedliving.org with inquiries about next year's program or other SOIL offerings.

The program cost is $6,800 ($6,400 until March 31, 2017). This cost includes food for the full two months, camping, field trips, instruction, certification, and all materials. Indoor lodging is available for an additional fee; please contact us for more information. Transportation and visas are not included.

The breakdown of the program cost is as follows:

  • Tuition, PDC and EDE certifications, and materials: $4,725 ($5,125 after March 31)
  • Food and Lodging: $1,675

Additionally, Permaculture and Ecovillage Immersion students receive a $50 discount on tuition for SOIL's Ecological and Natural Building course. This exploration of natural building, offered the week after the Immersion, empowers students to create energy efficient, beautiful, and Earth-friendly structures.

APPLY: Fill out our application form. Please give yourself plenty of time to complete the application, because it cannot be saved until submitted.

ACCEPTANCE: You will receive an acceptance decision within one week. Payment is required within one week after acceptance to reserve your space.

PAYMENT: Tuition can be paid by check, money order, PayPal, or credit card.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel, you may transfer your place in the program to someone of your choosing who has gone through the application process and been accepted, or you can donate your place to someone who would not be able to participate without financial assistance.

  • If you have paid tuition in full, 50% is refundable until April 14, 2017.
  • If you have partially paid tuition with a payment plan, 30% is refundable until April 14, 2017.
  • After April 14, 2017, there will be NO tuition refunds.
  • Indoor lodging fees are 100% refundable minus a $100 office fee.

If SOIL cancels the Permaculture and Ecovillage Immersion for any reason, 100% of your tuition will be refunded.
